Ethernet Patch Cords and Industrial Network Cables

Copper patch leads from Cat5e to Cat8 in UTP, S/FTP and high-flex PUR, with industrial variants using M12 X-coded, ix Industrial and 10BASE-T1L single pair endpoints. Category, shielding, jacket and boot style are set per order.

Cat6 S/FTP IP67 Industrial Pigtail Patch Cord (Push-Pull Lock, Round & Flat)

A cat6 ip67 pigtail patch cord with a sealed push-pull locking connector on one end and a standard RJ45 on the other, in round or flat cable.

Cat6 S/FTP IP67 Waterproof RJ45 Patch Cord (Industrial, Push-Pull Lock)

A cat6 ip67 waterproof patch cord built around a push-pull locking shell and sealed boot, for the three failures that kill industrial links: broken latch, corroded contacts and vibration.

Cat6 S/FTP Shielded RJ45 Patch Cord (Foiled + Braid, Snagless Boot)

A cat6 shielded patch cord built for runs that pass through electrical noise: aluminum foil on each pair, an overall tinned copper braid, and a snagless over-molded boot, made to your length and wiring.

Cat6 UTP Patch Cord

A cat6 utp cord is the default Gigabit patch lead: four unshielded 24 AWG pairs, RJ45 to RJ45, snagless boot, custom lengths and jacket colors for patch panels and server racks.

Cat6A High-Flex Drag Chain Patch Cord, S/FTP PUR

A cat6a drag chain patch cord on high-flex PUR: S/FTP 26 AWG, RJ45 to RJ45, built to the radius, stroke and cycle count you state.

Cat6A IP67 Industrial Pigtail, S/FTP RJ45 with Dust Cap

A Cat6A IP67 industrial pigtail that gets a shielded link through a cabinet wall without leaving a connector exposed: threaded sealing coupler with a tethered dust cap on one end, flying shielded RJ45 on the other. Stranded S/FTP, PoE++ capable.

Cat6A IP69K Washdown Patch Cord, M12 X-Code to RJ45, PUR

A Cat6A IP69K washdown patch cord for food, dairy, brewery and pharma lines: M12 X-code on the wet end, RJ45 in the cabinet, PUR jacket, built for caustic foam and high-pressure hot rinse. Lengths 3 to 10 m.

Cat6A M12 X-Code Link Cable, X-Coded 8-Pin

A Cat6A M12 X-code link cable carrying X-coded 8-pin plugs at both ends, so a 10G run stays sealed and vibration-proof from cabinet to cabinet. S/FTP construction, braid bonded to the coupling nut, halogen-free PUR jacket, made to your length.

Cat6A M12 X-Coded Patch Cord, 8-Pin M12 to RJ45, PUR

A Cat6A M12 X-coded patch cord bridging an industrial device port and a cabinet network: 8-pin X-coded M12 at the device, shielded RJ45 at the switch. Factory terminated and tested at both ends, halogen-free PUR jacket, straight or 90-degree M12.

Cat6A Outdoor Direct-Burial Patch Cord, Gel-Filled, IP68 Shroud

A Cat6A outdoor direct-burial patch cord built for the trench: a gel-filled core so a nick in the jacket does not become a capillary, and a UV-stabilised LLDPE jacket that sits in soil and sunlight without embrittling. Optional IP68 shroud.

Cat6A PUR High-Flex Patch Cord, S/FTP 26AWG, RJ45 to RJ45

A Cat6A PUR high-flex patch cord for the factory floor rather than the wiring closet: S/FTP 26 AWG stranded copper that tolerates repeated flexing, in a polyurethane jacket chosen for oil, coolant, UV and hydrolysis resistance. Shielded die-cast RJ45 plugs.

Cat6A Railway Patch Cord for Rolling Stock, RJ45 or M12 Ends

A Cat6A railway patch cord for rolling stock, built with screened S/FTP pairs and a halogen-free LSZH jacket to EN 45545-2 fire performance targets. RJ45 or M12 X-coded ends, made to your length and drawing.

Specification table

Patch cords look interchangeable until the environment changes the requirement: office cabinet work needs flexible stranded conductors, industrial runs need PUR or LSZH jackets and locking plugs, and anything single pair needs its own budget. We build all three from the same drawing discipline.

Typical Ethernet patch cord build options. Every assembly is made to order, so values outside this table are quoted rather than declined.

Typical applications

  1. Data center and office cabinets Short, flexible, correctly terminated cords that do not drag their neighbors.
  2. Industrial Ethernet M12 X-coded and ix Industrial runs built for vibration and coolant.
  3. Machine vision Cat6A lines feeding GigE Vision cameras on moving equipment.
  4. Touring and broadcast Ruggedized cords that survive repeated set and strike.
  5. Building networks LSZH and CMR rated riser runs.

Questions buyers ask

Cat5e, Cat6 or Cat6A?

Cat5e is fine for gigabit at short reach. Cat6 buys headroom against alien crosstalk in dense bundles, and Cat6A is the realistic choice for 10GBASE-T over 100 m. Our patch cord comparison puts numbers on each step.

When is single pair Ethernet the better answer?

When a sensor node needs power and a modest data rate over a longer distance on thinner cable. It trades throughput for reach and weight. See SPE versus four-pair Ethernet.

RJ45 or M12 X-coded on the machine?

If the equipment is cleaned, moved or vibrated, M12 X-coded is the connector engineers specify, and we build both plus the adapter leads between them. Details in this comparison.
