Certifications, Compliance & Material Declarations

This page states what we hold, what we can provide on every project, and — just as importantly — what we do not hold. All three are listed before you ask.

Product and material compliance

UL-recognised cable: Where your specification calls for it, we build with UL-recognised cable to the requested style. Tell us the style at quotation if your assembly needs to carry one.
RoHS: Material declarations against RoHS are provided per project.
REACH: Material declarations against REACH are provided per project.
Halogen-free: Halogen-free cable constructions are available where specified.
Conflict minerals: Conflict minerals declarations are available on request.
Material traceability: Material certificates can be traced to the lot. See the FAQ.

Workmanship standard

Workmanship acceptance is defined per project against IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 criteria. We build to it as the acceptance basis for termination, molding and assembly workmanship.

We do not claim to hold a separate IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification. If your requirement is for certified workmanship rather than for work built to the criteria, we will say so at quotation.

Where we are, stated plainly

We hold ISO 9001, we build with UL-recognised cable where specified, and we declare against RoHS and REACH. We do not hold IATF 16949 or ISO 13485.

Where a project requires a certification we do not currently hold, we will say so at quotation rather than at delivery, and we will tell you what the path to obtaining it would look like. Buyers do not mind a supplier without a certificate nearly as much as they mind discovering it during an audit.

What we can provide on every project, regardless of certification status: material declarations against RoHS and REACH; dimensional and electrical test reports against the approved drawing; first article inspection to your format; and full traceability on request.
