Our Team — One Project Path, Named People
A direct project path connecting customer requirements, engineering review, production handoff and ongoing communication. You will know who is answering your email, and they will know what was decided three months ago.
Clear ownership keeps custom work moving
The buyer should know where technical questions, commercial decisions and production feedback belong.
Three roles, one conversation
- Project communication
- Requirement intake, quotations, schedules and open points stay connected to one project conversation.
- Engineering review
- Connector, pinout, cable construction, molding, tooling and validation needs are checked before release.
- Production continuity
- Approved requirements and changes remain linked to prototype and repeat manufacturing.
- Project contact
- Engineering review
- Production coordination

Engineering and production counterparts are introduced by name when your project reaches those stages, so you always know who is answering.
Who you will hear from, and how fast
Custom cable work slows down when a question has to be relayed. Our structure is deliberately flat: the person handling your requirement is the person who answers your email, and they stay on the project through repeat orders.
- Project contact. Requirement intake, quotation, schedule and open points. One person, from first drawing to repeat order.
- Engineering. Connector, pinout, cable construction, molding concept, tooling and validation questions — engineering support is part of the quote, not a paid extra.
- Production. Introduced by name once the build reaches the line, so schedule and change questions go straight to the people running it.
We work to China time (GMT+8) and reply to overseas enquiries within one working day. Most of that first reply is questions rather than a price — that is intentional. The questions that get asked on day one are the ones that would otherwise be discovered at first article, on your schedule instead of ours.
Because the tooling is ours and the factory is ours, the answer to “can we change this?” is a decision made in the building, usually the same day, rather than a request relayed to a sub-supplier. That applies equally to build-to-print programs, first article runs and overmold tooling.

Working with us: FAQ
Who actually answers my email?
HK Wire Cable’s project contact named on this page — the same person from first drawing through repeat orders. Engineering and production counterparts are introduced by name when the project reaches those stages.
Can I speak to the engineer directly?
Yes. Once the requirement is clear we will put you in direct contact with the engineer working the connector, tooling or validation question, rather than relaying answers through a sales inbox. If the question is a drawing problem rather than a cable problem, it is handled the same way as our sample reverse engineering work: measured, documented, sent back for approval.
What are your working hours?
GMT+8, Monday to Saturday. Overseas enquiries are answered within one working day, and we schedule calls to suit your time zone when a project needs a live conversation.
Do you work with distributors or agents, or only direct?
Direct. There is no trading company between you and the production floor, which is why factory audits — in person or by video — can be arranged without notice to a third party.
Talk directly to the project contact.
