Sealed Feed-Through for Enclosures and Cameras
A pigtail solves a specific problem: getting a shielded Ethernet link through a cabinet wall or into a sealed housing without leaving the connector exposed. This Cat6A IP67 industrial pigtail terminates the bulkhead side in a threaded sealing coupler and leaves a flying RJ45 plug, or the reverse, depending on which end of the run is harder to reach. A tethered dust cap keeps the unmated coupler clean between service visits.
What the IP67 Rating Means Here
Ingress protection applies to the mated pair: the coupler and the plug together form the seal, and the rating is not meaningful for either half on its own. The coupling must be tightened to the specified torque and the cable must be supported so that strain does not pull the seal out of alignment. A pigtail that is correctly rated but installed unsupported will still leak. Confirm the rating and the test method against the supplier test report before writing it into a project specification.

Power Over the Same Cable
The assembly is intended for IEEE 802.3bt powered devices, so a single drop serves cameras, access points and small-cell radios without a separate mains feed. Pair resistance rises with length and with temperature, so voltage drop deserves a check on the longest runs feeding high-draw devices.
Where It Replaces a Standard Lead
Outdoor telecommunications cabinets, IP cameras on poles and building corners, LED and video-wall tiles, weighbridges and gate controllers, and equipment in food-production areas where hose-down cleaning is routine. It is the Category 6A successor to the existing Category 6 sealed pigtails in this range, and the two share the same panel cut-out so existing enclosures can be upgraded without new drilling.
