Plantronics Headset Bottom Cable with Terminal Block

Overview

Plantronics-style headset bottom cable with a Terminal block on the amplifier end. The cable is wired to the customer-specified pin-out and is supplied as a complete overmoulded assembly with a strain-relief boot at the headset end. Typical use is the bottom cable that hangs from the Plantronics-compatible headset to the Terminal block that lands on the amplifier PCB.

Construction and Materials

Two to six 26 AWG stranded tinned copper conductors, PVC jacket. The headset end is a custom overmoulded plug; the amplifier end is a Terminal block that lands on the amplifier PCB. The cable is supplied continuity and hipot tested.

Compatibility and Fitment

Compatible with Plantronics-style headset receptacles and standard 2-pin to 6-pin Terminal blocks. Pin-out depends on the headset model and the amplifier PCB – provide the headset make and model and the amplifier PCB drawing at order. The cable is a compatible replacement and is not an OEM Plantronics product.

Custom Builds and Ordering

Pin-out, pin count, length, jacket colour, label print and connector overmould are configurable. New headset plug over-moulds carry a mould fee. Sample 7 to 10 working days, production 15 to 20 working days.

Packaging and Shipping

Each cable individually PE-bagged and packed in a brown box. 100 pcs per export carton.

Quality and Compliance

Cable assembly continuity and hipot tested. Jacket built to UL 758 style 2464 or equivalent. RoHS 2.0 and REACH compliance on file. Cordage construction follows the <a href=”https://www.iec.ch” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>IEC 60227</a> / <a href=”https://www.iec.ch” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>IEC 60245</a> flexible-cord families where cited, and USB-IF specifications where a USB plug is fitted.
