Overview

Robot encoder cable wired to the KUKA encoder pin assignment for part number 00-174-775. The cable connects the encoder on the rear of a KUKA robot axis to the controller, carrying the encoder power and data pair through a flexible, drag-chain rated jacket. Built as a drop-in replacement lead for the OEM cable.

Construction and Materials

Six 24 AWG signal conductors plus one twisted pair for the encoder data lines, all wrapped in an overall foil + braid shield with a drain wire. The jacket is a halogen-free PUR compound rated for drag-chain use, with a matte black finish. The connector heads use a KUKA-compatible 8-pin industrial rectangular shell with a thumb-latch lock.

Compatibility and Fitment

Custom Builds and Ordering

Length, jacket colour, connector back-shell, label print and connector orientation are configurable. New connector back-shells carry a mould fee. Sample 10 to 15 working days, production 20 to 30 working days.

Jacket tested to IEC 60332-1-2 flame propagation. Drag-chain rating tested to 5 million cycles minimum at the rated bend radius. RoHS 2.0 and REACH compliance on file.
