Overview

M12 cable assembly with the push-pull self-locking variant defined by IEC 61076-2-010 combined with X-coding per IEC 61076-2-109 for 10 Gbps Cat6A. The push-pull coupling replaces the conventional M12 screw thread with a snap-in latch that engages in one motion, so the connector can be mated and unmated with one hand in tight cabinet layouts.

Construction and Materials

Push-pull locking sleeve is integrated into the connector housing rather than added on top, so the overall diameter stays close to a classic M12. The internal 8-pin X-code insert with cross-shaped pair shielding is identical to a threaded X-coded plug, and the two are intermateable: a push-pull plug seats in a classic threaded X-coded socket. Cable is S/FTP Cat6A on 26 AWG stranded copper with PUR jacket.
