DC 5525 Female to Male Adapter Cable

A short 5525 male cable pigtail that converts a DC 5.5 x 2.5 mm female socket to a 5.5 x 2.5 mm male plug, for extending or re-orienting an existing barrel lead.

Strictly 5.5 x 2.5 mm gear - not the 5521 or 4017 sizes.

DC 5525 Male to Bare Wire Power Cable

This 5525 bare wire cable puts a molded DC 5.5 x 2.5 mm male plug on one end and an exposed red-and-black tinned pigtail on the other, for custom DC wiring.

Solder or crimp the leads onto a terminal block or PCB.

DC Barrel Adapter Kit – 5521 / 5525 / 4017 / 3513 / 1.35mm / 2.5mm, 6-Piece

A dc barrel adapter kit covering 5.5x2.1, 5.5x2.5, 4.0x1.7, 3.5x1.35 and 2.5 mm in six molded female-to-male adapters, so one supply covers a mixed estate. Center positive throughout, with nickel-plated brass contacts. Measure the socket pin with a caliper before ordering: the outer shell is identical across three of these five sizes. Bagged with a size card, or boxed with a printed insert.

DC Plug Adapter Set 5521 / 5525 / 4017 / 3513 / 1.35mm / 2.5mm, 6 Pieces

A dc plug adapter set of six molded barrel adapters covering 5521, 5525, 4017, 3513, 1.35 mm and 2.5 mm. Nickel plated brass contacts, center positive, with the size printed on every piece so installers can fix a mismatch on site.

DC Plug XT60 Cable 5.5×2.1mm with Anderson SB50 Option, 14 AWG Silicone

A dc plug xt60 cable bridges a battery or power station on an XT60 or Anderson SB50 shell to equipment on a 5.5x2.1mm barrel. 14 AWG silicone, 150 to 300 mm, in either direction. The barrel limit is printed on the label rather than the battery-side figure.

DC Waterproof Push-Pull Quick-Lock Cable

This dc push pull quick lock cable pairs a waterproof latched coupling with quick, one-hand DC mating: press the shells together, the lock engages, and the sealed joint shrugs off rain, washdown splash and dust on outdoor power runs.

DC7909 Solar Extension Cable 14 AWG, 25 ft and 50 ft

A dc7909 solar extension cable puts the panel in full sun and the power station in the shade. 14 AWG stranded copper, 25 ft and 50 ft, DC7909 or DC8020 ends, center positive and marked at both ends. The panel works best in full sun and the station charges best in the shade. Do not join two; buy the single length that fits.

Fused 12V Distribution Harness, Anderson Powerpole to 4x DC 5.5×2.1mm Outputs

A fused 12v distribution harness on one Anderson Powerpole input, feeding four individually protected 5.5x2.1mm barrel outputs. 12 AWG input, 16 AWG branches, fuse values sized to your loads. The main fuse sits within 300 mm of the battery feed; branch fuses are sized to the cable first.

Heart-Shape 2-Pin Magnetic Charging Cable

A magnetic 2pin heart cable is a power-only charging lead with a heart-shape pogo-pin head. The asymmetric outline makes polarity obvious in the dark, so earbuds and wearables dock the right way round.

IP65 Waterproof DC 5521 Extension Cable

An ip65 5521 cable carries DC power from an indoor supply out to garden and landscape fixtures through sealed 5.5 x 2.1 mm connectors. Threaded collars with O-rings keep water out of the joints.

IP67 DC to USB-C Cable, 5.5×2.1mm Barrel Power Lead 0.5 m to 5 m

A dc to usb-c cable that feeds USB-C loads straight from a 12 V or 24 V rail. Sealed 5.5x2.1mm barrel on the source side, straight USB-C plug on the load side, in 0.5 m, 2 m, 3 m and 5 m. No inverter, no adapter.

IP67 Waterproof DC Extension Cable 5.5×2.1mm Male to Female, 2 / 3 / 5 m

A waterproof dc extension cable with a sealed threaded 5.5x2.1mm coupler and compression gasket, built for outdoor CCTV, LED signage and solar boxes. 18 AWG on 2 m and 3 m builds, 16 AWG on the 5 m build, with a UV resistant jacket.

Specification table

DC leads are where a small specification error becomes a field failure: the wrong barrel size, reversed polarity or a conductor too thin for the run length. We build to the plug dimension you name, state the polarity on every drawing, and size the conductor against the current and the distance.

Typical DC plug power cable build options. Every assembly is made to order, so values outside this table are quoted rather than declined.

Barrel dimensions follow IEC 60130; conductor ampacity is worked to the installation rules in NFPA 70 where North American installations require it.

Typical applications

  1. Security cameras and access control Outdoor runs where the lead has to seal at the camera housing.
  2. LED lighting and signage Constant-voltage feeds with the right barrel plug and current rating.
  3. Solar and battery packs Higher current leads with XT60, XT90-S or SB50 hardware.
  4. Medical and lab devices Documented materials and repeatable lot-to-lot consistency.
  5. Point-of-sale and kiosks Short harnesses with labeled branch lengths.

Questions buyers ask

How do I pick the right conductor size?

Start from load current, then check voltage drop over the actual run length. A 2 m lead at low current is a different problem from a 5 m lead carrying most of its rating. Our voltage drop and ampacity guide walks through the arithmetic with real conductor tables.

What happens if I order the wrong polarity?

The equipment usually does not survive it. We mark every drawing center-positive or center-negative and ask you to confirm before production; assemblies can also be labeled at the plug end.

Can you supply USB-C power instead of a barrel plug?

Yes. For anything above 60 W we build to USB Power Delivery with an E-marked cable, quoted against the power level the device negotiates rather than by gauge alone.
