Circular M-Series Cable Assemblies

Round connector leads for industrial sensor and actuator wiring, covering A-coded M8 in 3 to 6 pin and A-coded M12 in 3 to 8 pin, straight or right-angle, with PVC, PUR or TPU jackets. Sealed to IP65–IP67 when mated and built to IEC 61076-2-101 (M12) and IEC 61076-2-104 (M8). The range also extends past M8 and M12 to M5 miniature sensor cordsets, M16 sensor and actuator builds, M20 locking power and signal leads and M23 encoder feedback and servo power assemblies. Pin count, length, orientation, jacket and shielding are set per order.

7/8″ 3-Pin Industrial Power Cable, 13 A / 300 V, IP67

This 7/8 power cable carries the thick 7/8-16 UN thread and 3-pin contact layout that bus power architectures rely on, delivering 13 A at 300 V through a sealed, overmolded assembly built for machine frames and mobile equipment.

7/8″ 5-Pin T-Splitter, 1 Male to 2 Female, IP67

This 7/8 splitter turns one trunk connection into two branch feeds: a 5-pin male enters the T-body and two 5-pin female legs exit, each overmolded and sealed so a DeviceNet or CANopen drop can power two nodes without a junction box.

IP67 Right-Angle M12 D-Code 4-Pin Industrial Ethernet Cable

This IP67 right angle m12 d-code cable brings a 90-degree, 4-position D-coded M12 connector to machine vision cameras, switches and other PROFINET endpoints where a straight overmold would bend the cable too sharply at the port.

IP67 Right-Angle M23 Power Cable (2+4 Pin)

This IP67 right angle m23 power cable carries a 2 plus 4 hybrid contact layout, pairing heavier power contacts with signal contacts in one sealed, 90-degree connector for servo axes, robot dress packs and outdoor feeders.

IP67 Right-Angle M8 6-Pin Sensor Cable

This IP67 right angle m8 sensor cable pairs a molded 90-degree male with a molded 90-degree female A-coded connector, so proximity switches, photoelectric sensors and small actuators can be wired in the tightest recesses of a machine frame.

IP67 Waterproof M12 Molded Cable

An IP67 waterproof M12 molded cable built to the coding, pin count, jacket and length your machine needs. One overmolded assembly from connector face to cable exit — send the pinout and we build to it.

M12 12 Pin Cable, High Density Cordset for Encoders and Valve Blocks

An M12 12 pin cable that collapses four separate sensor runs into one connector on the same 12 mm thread. Shielded multi-core with signal and supply cores sized separately, braided screen with drain, straight or right-angle, built to your pinout.

M12 12-Pin Bulkhead Cable with Flying Leads

An M12 12 pin bulkhead feedthrough to open flying leads, front or rear mount, each lead marked to your pinout and cut to your panel thickness. Twelve signals through one cutout, with the panel seal carried at the flange.

M12 3-Pin A-Coded Sensor / Actuator Extension Cable

This M12 actuator cable is the three-conductor A-coded extension used to replace or lengthen the last segment of a sensor drop without pulling new cable back to the cabinet. IEC 61076-2-101, IP67 mated, 60 V / 4 A, 24 AWG, PVC or PUR jacket, built to your pinout and length.

M12 4-Pin A-Coded Right-Angle Shielded Sensor Cable

This M12 4 pin shielded cable carries analog and sensor signals past variable frequency drives without the noise that ruins an unshielded drop. Foil plus braid screen, right-angle A-coded female body, 24 AWG conductors, bonded to the coupling nut per your drawing.

M12 8-Pin A-Coded IP67 Waterproof Male-Female Extension Cable

This M12 8 pin cable carries two complete circuits or full encoder feedback in one IP67 A-coded shell, saving a second run and a second part number. 30 V / 2 A per pin, 8 x 24 AWG, PUR jacket for oil and UV, built to your pinout and length.

M12 8-Pin A-Coded Right-Angle / Straight Extension Cable

An m12 8 pin extension cable with a right-angle male end and a straight female end, both overmolded, IP67 and A-coded to IEC 61076-2-101. 8 x 24 AWG in TPU or PVC for I/O blocks and tight cabinet runs.

Specification table

Every cordset below is assembled after the order is placed, so the specification is written backwards from your connector, your controller and the environment the cable runs through. If your pin count, cable chemistry or approval list is not in the table, it is still buildable unless the molding geometry forbids it, in which case you hear that before tooling starts.

Typical M8 and M12 circular cordset build options. Every assembly is made to order, so values outside this table are quoted rather than declined.

Mating hardware is compliant with IEC 61076-2-101 for M12 and IEC 61076-2-104 for M8; fieldbus and device-side behavior follows the relevant profile from IO-Link or PROFIBUS.

M8 or M12 — which thread fits the job

The two share the same insert family. The decision usually comes down to available panel space and how often the connection is made and broken.

Typical applications

  1. Sensor and actuator drops Discrete I/O wiring from the junction block to inductive, photo and pressure sensors, where the M12 nut is expected to survive thousands of service cycles.
  2. IO-Link and PROFINET Class A ports carrying both power and switched data on one four or five pin cordset rather than a separate power pair.
  3. Drag chain and robot dress-out High-flex TPU builds with put-up lengths tuned to the axis travel.
  4. Food, beverage and washdown Stainless coupling nuts and PUR or TPU jackets rated for daily caustic rinse.
  5. Machine vision M12 X-coded Cat6A leads feeding GigE Vision cameras on moving gantries.

Questions buyers ask

Which M12 coding should I specify?

A-coded carries sensor signals and is the most common by far. D-coded is for 100 Mbit Ethernet and PROFINET, X-coded is the Cat6A version used by GigE Vision cameras, and B-coded still appears on older PROFIBUS drops. K, S, T, L and M-coded are power variants with a different keyway so a signal plug cannot be forced into a power socket. The full code list is in our M12 coding guide.

Do you verify the IP rating on every unit?

Every mated pair is checked for shell seating and strain relief pull. Immersion and washdown claims are tested per construction during qualification, and we state which method was used rather than quoting a number with no test behind it. The practical differences are set out in our ingress rating guide.

Can I mix straight and right-angle ends on one cordset?

Yes, and that is the usual request. Give us the clocking angle if it matters, otherwise both plugs are molded in the same orientation with the molded bodies aligned when the cable lies flat.
