DB50 to DB25 DTE Serial Cable

Overview

DB50 to DB25 DTE serial cable, plus DB50 to V.35 (M/34) and DB50 to DB15 variants on the same DB50 platform. The DB50 end is the SCSI-2 style half-pitch or full-pitch D-Sub shell used on legacy routers, CSU/DSUs and serial concentrators; the other end is the standard serial connector for the target device.

Construction and Materials

Twenty-five twisted pairs of 28 AWG stranded tinned copper, wrapped in an overall foil + braid shield with drain wire. The jacket is a PVC compound. Both connector ends are metal-hooded D-Sub shells with thumbscrews for mating to a chassis receptacle. Pin-out can be wired as straight-through, crossover, or per the customer’s drawing.

Compatibility and Fitment

Compatible with any DB50 serial port and any DB25, V.35 (M/34) or DB15 serial port. Pin-out depends on the application – provide the wiring diagram or the equipment make and model at order.

Pin-out (DTE, DCE or custom), length, jacket colour, connector hood style and label print are configurable. Sample 7 to 10 working days, production 15 to 20 working days.

Each cable individually PE-bagged and packed in a brown box. 100 pcs per export carton.
