Screw-Lock Molded Cable Assemblies

Vibration-proof cordsets that hold the connector mated with a threaded coupling instead of a friction latch, covering D-Sub DB9 / DB15 / DB25, M23 servo, GX16 aviation, VGA, DVI and locking USB-C. Sealed IP67 and panel-mount builds available; pinout and shell size set per order.

Right-Angle RJ45 Screw-Lock Cable (90 Degree Thumbscrew Plug, Cat6A S/FTP)

A right angle RJ45 screw lock cable uses the same thumbscrew locking plug as our straight version, but the plug body turns 90 degrees so the cable leaves sideways instead of straight back. It is the answer when a camera, control box or switch sits against a wall or inside a shallow enclosure.

Right-Angle USB 3.0 Type-A Screw-Lock Cable

This right angle screw lock cable moves a USB 3.0 port out of a crowded rear panel: a 90-degree Type-A plug feeds a panel-mount Type-A receptacle whose flanges take two fixing screws, holding the connection firm at 5 Gbps.

Right-Angle USB Type-C Male to Male Screw-Lock Cable (USB 3.1, 5 Gbps, 90 Degree, M2 Lock)

A right angle usb screw lock cable for shallow cabinets and vibrating frames: 90 degree Type-C plug, thumbscrew fixing, exit direction to your layout.

Screw Lock Console Cable, DB9 to RJ45 for Rack Management Ports

A screw lock console cable for rack management ports: RJ45 on the equipment end, DE-9 / DB9 female with jackscrews on the laptop end, and all eight conductors rolled end to end so two DTE ports talk without a null-modem block.

screw lock Type C 3.1 extension cable male to female anti-vibration and prevent accidental disconnection

A screw lock type c extension cable that stays mated when the machine shakes: USB 3.1 male to female, dual thumbscrews on the panel end, built to your panel and length.

Screw-Lock USB 3.0 Type-A Male to Female Socket Extension Cable Industrial Panel Mount Extension Cable

A screw lock usb extension cable for industrial panels: USB 3.0 Type-A male to female, two thumbscrews on the panel end, built to your thread and cutout.

USB 2.0 Type-B Male to Female Screw-Lock Panel-Mount Extension Cable (480 Mbps, M3, 30V, PVC)

A usb type b screw lock cable carries a 480 Mbps link to a panel-mounted Type-B receptacle held by two M3 thumbscrews. 26+28 AWG copper, foil plus braid shield, 30 V / 2 A.

USB 3.1 Type-A Male to Type-C Female Screw-Lock Adapter Cable (5 Gbps, M2, Industrial Panel Mount)

A screw lock adapter cable that gives a Type-A host a panel-mounted, vibration resistant USB-C port: two thumbscrews, thread and cutout to your panel.

USB Type-C Latch-Lock Extension Cable (USB 3.1, 5 Gbps, Over-Molded Strain Relief, USB-IF Latch)

A type c latch lock cable is a USB 3.1 Gen1 extension whose latch is molded as one piece with the housing, so it cannot crack off. 5 Gbps, 360-degree shielding, over 50 N retention for vibrating machines.

USB-C Screw Locking Cable, Side or Top 10Gbps 100W / 240W

A USB-C screw locking cable offered with the retention screws on the side or on the top face of the plug, so the assembly matches the receptacle your panel was already tooled for. 10 Gb/s data, 100 W or 240 W power delivery, knurled M2 screws held captive in the overmold.

USB4 Screw Lock Cable, 80Gbps Dual-Screw USB-C, PD 3.1 EPR 240W

A USB4 screw lock cable for rigs where a friction-fit plug is not acceptable: dual knurled thumb screws clamp the USB-C shell to threaded posts on the device. Up to 80 Gb/s, PD 3.1 EPR to 240 W, coaxial high-speed pairs under a 360-degree shield.

VGA Screw Lock Cable, HD15 for Industrial Monitors and CNC Panels

A VGA screw lock cable keeps an HD15 plug seated on a machine that vibrates, and carries three analog color channels far enough to stay readable. Coax cores, low capacitance, two jackscrews into the panel threads, molded to your length.

Specification table

A friction-fit plug eventually walks out under vibration, and a cable that snags in a service aisle pulls out faster. These assemblies replace that retention with a mechanical lock: a thumbscrew into a panel receptacle, a jackscrew on a D-Sub shell, or a threaded collar on a circular connector.

Typical screw-lock molded cable build options. Every assembly is made to order, so values outside this table are quoted rather than declined.

Screw threads follow the ISO metric screw thread series; USB, HDMI and servo interfaces keep to their own governing specifications: USB-IF, HDMI and EMVA for vision interfaces.

Typical applications

  1. Machine vision Camera leads that cannot be pulled loose when the gantry accelerates.
  2. Servo drives M23 power plus feedback combinations built as one assembly.
  3. CNC and control panels Operator-facing ports that get plugged and unplugged daily.
  4. Kiosks and vending USB and serial leads held against casual pulling.
  5. Marine and offshore Stainless hardware and sealing gaskets for salt-laden air.

Questions buyers ask

Thumbscrew or latch-style Bow lock?

Thumbscrews take more cycles and hold against vibration, but need a threaded receptacle and take longer to fit. Latches are faster if the equipment supports them. The trade-off is set out in our comparison of screw-lock and latch-style connectors.

What do you need to quote an overmolded assembly?

Panel thickness and cutout, the mating receptacle, cable OD range, minimum bend radius and the flex expectation. Those five inputs drive the tooling shape and the strain relief length. See what engineers should define.

Is the IP67 claim valid on its own?

No. Sealing is a property of the mated pair, so we rate it against a named receptacle and gasket. Tell us what the cable plugs into, and we quote the assembly against that instead of a bare part.
