Overview

Verifone Vx680 14-pin header to RJ45 coiled Ethernet cable. The Vx680 is the portable payment terminal from Verifone; the 14-pin header is the docking connector on the base of the terminal, and the RJ45 end feeds the Ethernet connection to the store network. The cable is supplied in a coiled form so the terminal can be moved around the counter without unplugging.

Construction and Materials

Four twisted pairs of 24 AWG stranded tinned copper per Cat5e, wrapped in an overall foil + braid shield with drain wire. The jacket is a polyurethane compound rated for retractable use, wound into a coil with a 1:5 stretch ratio. The 14-pin header is a locking plug; the RJ45 end is a standard 8P8C plug.

Compatibility and Fitment

Compatible with the Verifone Vx680 base 14-pin header and any standard RJ45 Ethernet receptacle. Not compatible with the Vx820 or Vx520 base – the header is different. The cable is a compatible replacement and is not an OEM Verifone product.

Custom Builds and Ordering

Coil stretch ratio, length (relaxed and extended), jacket colour, label print and connector orientation are configurable. Sample 7 to 10 working days, production 15 to 20 working days.

Each cable individually PE-bagged and packed in a brown box. 50 pcs per export carton.
