DB9 to RJ45 Serial / Cisco Console Cable

Overview

DB9 to RJ45 serial or console cable, plus DB9 to USB bridge variant. The DB9 side is the standard RS-232 / RS-422 / RS-485 shell; the RJ45 side is the Cisco-style console connector. The cable is wired to the customer’s pin-out, typically for console, RS-232 DTE / DCE, or RS-422 / RS-485 data.

Construction and Materials

Twisted pairs of 28 AWG stranded tinned copper, wrapped in an overall foil shield with drain wire. The jacket is a PVC compound. The DB9 end is a metal-hooded D-Sub shell with thumbscrews; the RJ45 or USB-A end is a standard plug. Pin-out is wired per the RS-232, Cisco console or RS-422 / RS-485 standard as requested.

Compatibility and Fitment

Compatible with any DB9 serial port and any RJ45 console port or USB-A host. Pin-out depends on the application – provide the wiring diagram or the equipment make and model at order.

Custom Builds and Ordering

Pin-out (RS-232 DTE, DCE, Cisco console, RS-422 / RS-485 or custom), length, jacket colour, connector hood style and label print are configurable. Sample 7 to 10 working days, production 15 to 20 working days.

Packaging and Shipping

Each cable individually PE-bagged and packed in a brown box. 100 pcs per export carton.
