Square 2-Pin Magnetic Charging Cable

Overview

Two-pin magnetic charging cable with a square-edge moulded pogo head. The square outline lets the user feel the orientation through touch alone and lines up flush with rectangular device housings. The cable delivers DC power only and breaks away safely when the lead is tripped over, protecting the device port from bending damage.

Construction and Materials

Power pair is 2 x 24 AWG tinned copper, foil-shielded with drain wire and over-extruded with PVC. The square head is a one-shot injection mould in ABS / PC with a matte finish and recessed magnet pocket. A TPE strain-relief boot exits the head in line with the cable axis so the cable lies flat.

Compatibility and Fitment

Compatible with any device-side tip wired to a 2-pin magnetic pogo layout. Power only, not data. For higher current up to 3 A use the 4-pin variant; for USB 2.0 data + power, use a 4-pin data tip.

Custom Builds and Ordering

Length, jacket colour, housing colour, magnet polarity and pin spacing are configurable. New square sizes or new device tips carry a custom mould fee. Samples 7 to 10 working days after drawing approval; production typically 15 to 20 working days.

PE bag plus brown inner box, 100 pcs per export carton. Custom retail box or blister pack available on request.

Quality and Compliance

Jacket built to UL 758 style 2464 or equivalent. Head cycle-tested to 10,000 insertions. RoHS 2.0 and REACH compliance on file. Final rating depends on the jacket and plating specified at order. Charging and data behaviour follows the <a href=”https://www.usb.org/documents” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>USB-IF published specifications</a> for the USB 2.0 interface and the USB Type-C specification where a Type-C plug is fitted.
