Overview
M12 Power cable assembly in either T-code (4-pin) or L-code (5-pin) per IEC 61076-2-111. Both codings are restricted to DC power at 63 V: T-coded carries 12 A on a 4-pin (3 power + PE) layout, L-coded carries 16 A on a 5-pin (4 power + FE) layout. The two codings are not intermateable, which prevents accidental cross-wiring between small and medium-power DC drives.

Construction and Materials
Overmoulded M12 connector ends on stranded copper conductors sized to the coding: 4 x 16 AWG (1.5 mm2) for T-coded, 5 x 14 AWG (2.5 mm2) for L-coded. PVC or PUR jacket, oil- and coolant-resistant. Tamper-proof overmould means the connector cannot be removed from the cable in the field. Contacts gold-plated brass to keep contact resistance low under continuous load.

- The K-coding and S-coding parts of the same IEC 61076-2-111 family are deliberately not covered here because they target 630 V AC single- and three-phase power.
Compatibility and Fitment
Mates with T-coded or L-coded IEC 61076-2-111 M12 Power sockets. Not intermateable with K-coded (630 V AC three-phase) or S-coded (630 V AC single-phase) M12 Power sockets, which is by design. Not interchangeable with A-coded signal or D-coded Ethernet M12 connectors.

Each cable is individually bagged and labeled with coding, length and lot. Bulk packaging is used for OEM volume orders. Shipments leave our facility within the lead time confirmed on the order acknowledgement.
