Smart Watch Magnetic Charging Cable with PCBA Tip

Overview

Magnetic charging cable for smart watches and similar wearable PCBA docks. The cable carries DC power to a magnetic pogo head that mates with a small device-side tip soldered onto the device PCBA. The PCBA tip is designed to be integrated into the wearable by the device maker, leaving the magnetic head as the only user-facing part.

Construction and Materials

Two-conductor or four-conductor 26 AWG tinned copper, PVC jacket. The magnetic head is a custom ABS / PC mould with two or four pogo pins. The device-side tip is a small PCBA with the matching pogo land pattern and through-hole or SMT mounting tabs. Both halves stay in polarity by the magnet alignment.

Compatibility and Fitment

Compatible with any device whose PCBA tip is wired to the matching pogo land pattern. The PCBA tip side is custom – we provide the PCB footprint and 3D model in STEP format so the device team can lay it out and source the tip from us or have it assembled.

Custom Builds and Ordering

PCBA tip pin layout, mounting style (through-hole or SMT), tip PCB size, magnetic head colour, cable length and jacket colour are all configurable. New tip moulds carry a mould fee. Sample 7 to 10 working days, production 15 to 20 working days.

Packaging and Shipping

Cable and tip packed separately, PE bag plus brown inner box, 100 pcs per export carton.

Quality and Compliance

Jacket built to UL 758 style 2464. Magnetic head cycle-tested to 10,000 insertions. RoHS 2.0 and REACH compliance on file. Charging and data behaviour follows the <a href=”https://www.usb.org/documents” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>USB-IF published specifications</a> for the USB 2.0 interface and the USB Type-C specification where a Type-C plug is fitted.
