Overview

This 7/8 power cable carries the thick 7/8-16 UN thread and 3-pin contact layout that bus power architectures rely on, delivering 13 A at 300 V through a sealed, overmolded assembly built for machine frames and mobile equipment.

The 7/8-inch platform is the power backbone of DeviceNet, CANopen and NMEA 2000 systems: its coarse 7/8-16 UN thread gives a vibration-proof mechanical joint, and the 3-pin layout carries the full 13 A / 300 V class that trunk lines and node feeds demand. Where M12 connectors top out in current, this larger shell keeps contact resistance low on long power runs.

Construction and Materials

The connector is overmolded directly onto a round industrial jacket, with the potting sealing both the contact cavity and the cable entry against washdown water, dust and oil mist. The coupling nut is knurled metal for a firm grip with gloved hands, and the keyed shell prevents mis-mating with signal connectors on the same machine.

Typical Applications

Typical runs include DeviceNet thick trunk drops, CANopen power feeds on mobile machinery, NMEA 2000 battery and backbone connections on boats, and general machine power drops where a sealed screw-coupled connector is preferred over a bare gland.
