Extend the Reach of Your Starlink Mini Lead

The OEM lead that ships with Starlink Mini is short, and the dish is usually roof-, dash- or rack-mounted somewhere the OEM cable will not reach. This DC extension cable is a moulded 5.5 x 2.1 mm male plug on one end and a moulded 5.5 x 2.1 mm female jack on the other, with 18 AWG stranded copper between them. It slides in line with the OEM lead and adds the length you need without changing the voltage the dish sees.

Compatibility

Built for Starlink Mini – the dish with the round DC barrel input. Not for Gen 2, Gen 3 or Flat High Performance dishes. Plug-and-jack are both moulded bodies with a sealing collar, so the inline joint stays solid in vibration.

Specifications

18 AWG stranded tinned copper, 1 m or 3 m standard. Moulded 5.5 x 2.1 mm male and female ends, centre positive. Jacket rated -40 to +80 ℃. For runs longer than 3 m we move to a heavier conductor so voltage drop at the dish stays inside its working range – tell us the run length and we size the cable.

Typical Installations

Starlink Mini mounted on a van or RV roof with the indoor unit further forward than the OEM lead reaches; boat installs where the cable has to clear a cabin and engine bay; trade-show and event rigs that need to keep the dish away from foot traffic.

Build Options and Ordering

Length, conductor size, jacket colour and the print on the cable jacket are all specifiable. If you need a right-angle barrel on one end to clear a bulkhead, we tool that too. Samples ship before production; first-article dimensions and a continuity report come with the sample.
