Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable for 8K Video Walls

This ultra high speed HDMI cable is built for fixed commercial installs where the source sits close to the panel: signage players mounted behind retail screens, lectern connections in classrooms, table boxes in meeting rooms and controllers racked directly below a video wall. The range is aimed at integrators who re-patch a system several times a year and need a lead that survives being pulled through conduit, coiled for transport, and left in place for months without contact oxidation.

Construction and handling

The conductors are 30 AWG with foil plus braid shielding, a combination chosen to keep the assembly flexible enough to route through a shallow back box or along a display arm without kinking. The jacket is halogen-free TPE rather than standard PVC, so it stays supple in cold storage and does not stiffen after a long period coiled in a carton. Contacts are gold plated to limit oxidation on ports that stay mated for months at a time. Each overmoulded shell carries the specification laser marked into the plastic, so an installer can still identify the grade of a cable after it has disappeared behind a screen.
