Construction and Materials

A kit rather than a single lead: pre-cut red and black power cables, positive and negative insulated terminal clamps, ring lugs for the equipment end and heat shrink boots to seal each termination. Everything needed to run a battery circuit is in one bag, so the installer is not improvising crimp sizes mid-job.

Typical Applications

Aimed at hot rod, classic car and custom builds, where the battery is often relocated to the boot or behind the bulkhead and the original cabling no longer reaches. Also used when restoring a vehicle whose original leads have hardened or corroded past reuse.

Compatibility and Fitment

Check the cable cross section against the starter draw and the total run length before fitting, particularly where the battery has been moved further from the starter motor. Longer runs need more copper for the same cranking performance.
