Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Shenzhen Hongkong Wire Cable Co., Ltd. (“HKWIRE”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use hkwirecable.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated 15 September 2026.

Who we are

HKWIRE is a cable, wire harness and molded cable assembly manufacturer based in Shenzhen, China. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect

Information you send us

The contact form asks for your name, company, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, a target quantity, and a description of the application and its requirements. You may also attach a drawing or specification file. We use all of it only to answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation.

Technical information

When a page loads, our server records the IP address, browser and device type, the referring page and the pages you view. We use this to keep the site secure, to diagnose faults and to understand which pages are useful. It is not used to identify you personally.

Cookies and measurement

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use those needed for the site to work, including session handling and protection against automated form abuse. Measurement and analytics tags, where enabled, are loaded through Google Tag Manager. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, but some functions such as a pre-filled form may not.

Why we use your information

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation — because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
  • To keep the site secure and working — because we have a legitimate interest in doing so.
  • To measure how the site is used, where you have consented — on the basis of that consent.
  • To keep business, tax and quality records we are required to keep — to meet a legal obligation.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the suppliers that help us run the site and the business: our hosting provider, our email delivery provider, and, where enabled, our analytics provider. Each one acts on our instructions and only for the purposes above. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Where your information goes

We are established in China and our hosting is in the United States, so information you send will be transferred outside your own country. We take reasonable steps to see that it is handled under standards comparable to those described here.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries, quotations and order correspondence: three years from our last contact with you.
  • Server logs: 90 days.
  • Drawings and specification files you send: for the life of the project plus three years, unless we must keep them longer to meet an agreed confidentiality obligation or a legal duty.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us to give you a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to provide it in a portable format. If you are in the EEA or the United Kingdom you may also complain to your local data protection authority. Send your request to alankangzhenhua@gmail.com; we answer within 30 days.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiries and to files you send is limited to the staff who need it to answer you, and drawings are not exposed publicly. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is aimed at engineers and professional buyers. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already sent, we will say so on this page.
